Not A Smart Ass, Just Smart

It is the geek in me. If you can’t embrace and appreciate it, then chances are you will never be able to be able to embrace or appreciate me

Some would beg to differ on that one. I am sarcastic too much. That I know. I am working on it. However, if I say something and you try to correct me when I know that I am correct I will say something. It will be kind. It will be the truth. In fact, I am not above checking into it with you sitting there looking over my shoulder as I look something up. If I am wrong, I will admit it with an “oh, here I thought it was this…” If I am right, I will follow with “the only reason I was sure about that is because I just recently had to look into this because…” The latter usually being the case.

I have a phone. I know what my phone model is and what size it is. I also know which carriers it will or will not work with, etc. Not at all because I am super smart, just did some research and some testing before I bought the sucker.

It is the geek in me. If you can’t embrace and appreciate it, then chances are you will never be able to be able to embrace or appreciate me. I don’t know everything. I pretty much can say that there is a whole hell of lot more that I don’t know than I do know.

I don’t know how to invest money. I dabble but in very small, as in VERY small, amounts and things. Still not sure how all that works so I play at it to learn about it. I can honestly say that I still don’t know how it all works other than I give someone money and they buy stock, the stock goes up or down and the object is to sell when it is high. So I sold a share just to see how that went and even though my stock was up, I didn’t get a whole lot of that sale because of the fees. Live and learn, test and learn, play and learn.

And just because you have money in Apple stock doesn’t mean that my phone is an iPhone CE – it is an SE. If you will Google it or even look on Apple’s site you will see that it has a lot of the features of the iPhone 6s but is in the iPhone 5s body. Small yet kind of powerful to be so small. Even better is that for some reason I can use this one when I couldn’t manage the iPhone 4s.

Also, just because inquiring minds (may) want to know or are just curious, yes you can set a toe print as an unlocking fingerprint on your iPhone SE.

So yes, I am smart but not a smart ass. I don’t profess to know everything, but I do know a lot of things.

So call me a smart ass if you want, but today all I know about this phone is that it is an SE, unlocked to all carriers, how to turn off the ‘live’ deal in the camera settings and keep if off, unlock the phone with my big toe, make and receive phone calls, send and receive text messages, have Siri get me the hell home when I am lost by using only my voice.

So go out there and learn some stuff. Share it, just don’t be a smart ass about it, just be smart. Share it because you want the world to be a better place, not because you want to appear to be the smarter person. Knowledge isn’t a competition, it is a gift. Share with those that want it, leave the others to their own path.

Love and light to all!
