My Fake Wedding

I don’t know how people do this. I guess if you are actually getting married it is a lot easier. Easier, but stressful.

wedding_dressAs I mentioned in an earlier post, I am planning my wedding. My fake wedding. I have been married and divorced 3 times now yet I have never had a full-on wedding so I am attempting to experience it all – well almost all of it.

I had chosen a name for my to-be spouse: Otis Spudmeyer. Just caught my eye, literally, on a Blueberry Muffin I got out of the vending machine at work. I have, as of today, changed my to-be spouse to … oh hell, I’ve already forgotten. Angelo Giavelli I think? Oh well, its written down at work and I will “officially” post it when I snag the post-it that its written on from work.

Update: the name is “Angelo Gavanelli”.

So far, and it has been months, I have already forgotten that I was planning this mock wedding. As you can tell, I’ve already ditched one fake guy for another. Not a trend in real life, I promise. I have, however, found my dress. Of course, this might change yet again since the first dress I had in my mind was either a really light turquoise or light blue/green dress that I cannot describe. I would have to draw it, and since I can’t draw you guys are out of luck. Not really out of luck since it isn’t the dress I’ve chosen.

Anyway, this is the dress and I totally love it! Found it online but not sure who has it or something similar that I can actually try on. I’ve never even tried on a wedding dress. Won’t that be fun? I have a deep seated fear that I may have some kind of physical (negative) reaction to have a wedding dress on – like Carrie in “Sex In The City”.

So, now I don’t know what to do next in planning this ‘wedding”. It doesn’t help that I am highly distracted right now with work and school. Those are my priorities, as they should be, since this is all pretend and real life continues on…
